  • Does Box It Store Luggage?
    We do not store your luggage. Only if it fits inside our boxes and some duffel bags do fit. We ask you to place your belongings inside our boxes. We believe luggage is designed for traveling and for temporary use. Other reasons are: Luggage is not weathertight. Luggage has different shapes, materials and durability. Luggage may break easy. Luggage is expensive to you, the owner.
  • Can I keep the Boxes when I don't renew my Storage plan?
    No. The Boxes belong to Box It Storage by the Box. We do not sell our Boxes.
  • I am interested in leaving my gear. Where do I begin?

  • How do I lock my Boxes?
    We provide you with some white tie wraps for free so you can close your boxes. We also provide with some optional combination pad locks and other tie wraps. Just remember the combination of your locks so you can open them when you come back.
  • Does Box It store long Ski Bags, Snowboard Bags and Sports Bags
    Yes. We store long ski bags, snowboard bags and sports bags. Price varies by size
  • Are my belongings insured?
    Our warehouse is insured in case of a major event. If you want your belongings to be insured to their real value, you can contact your insurance company and get renter's insurance that will cover your belongings while on a storage facility. We will provide you with the information required by your insurance company upon request.
  • I need more empty boxes, the ones i received are not enough.
    Just call us, e mail us or send us a text message and we will deliver them within the hour
  • How do I know what size and how many boxes I need?
    Once you let us know what you need to leave in storage, we will bring you different sizes of boxes and more boxes than we both think you will use, just so you have them available. You will then be able to choose the boxes that are convenient for you. We will only invoice what you use.
  • How do I give you my information?
    When you receive your empty boxes we will provide you with a form to fill out where you give us basic information like name, phone and e mail.
  • Where are my belongings stored?
    Our warehouse is located in the Vail Valley. Only 10 minutes away from Vail Village.
  • Do I need to be present to receive my empty Boxes?
    No. We will deliver everything with the bellman or concierge or leave them right outside your house or apartment front door.
  • Do I keep the Boxes while I am on vacation ?
    Yes. The boxes stay with you until you leave again. If you want to renew your storage period we will pick them up full again. if you decide not to use our services anymore we will pick them up empty.
  • How do I let you know I am coming so you can deliver my boxes?
    Just call us, e mail us or send us a text message and we will deliver them to your place of stay before your arrival date so you will find all your belongings waiting for you.
  • How much time before my arrival I need to call to have my gear in storage delivered to my hotel or residence?
    A week or two in advance is perfect. We like it if you let us know when you book your trip even if it is a year ahead of time so we can schedule it and provide you with the best service however, we can react the same day in case you forgot to let us know.
  • Do I need to be present to receive my Boxes and Gear?
    No. We will deliver everything with the bellman or concierge or leave them right outside your house or apartment front door. Don't forget to be grateful to your bellman.
  • How do I know you have delivered or picked up my Boxes?
    We will contact you via Text message or Whatsapp as soon as we have delivered or picked up your belongings. We will also send you an e mail with a confirmation letter from our office after every pick up.

  • How do I know where you have delivered my Boxes?
    We will contact you via Text message or Whatsapp as soon as we have delivered your belongings and let you know where you will find them. If you stay in a hotel we will deliver directly to the bellman or concierge so they can deliver them to your room. Don't forget to be grateful to your bellman.
  • I come many times during the year. Are all deliveries included?
    Yes. All deliveries and pick ups in the Vail and Beaver Creek are free. If you come many times we will always deliver and pick up at no extra charge. If you need your belongings outside of this area there is a charge depending on the destination. Please contact us for pricing or a Fedex quote.
  • Can I buy gear on line and ship it to your warehouse?
    Yes. We will receive and store your gear until you let us know where you want it delivered.
  • Can I ship my gear to your warehouse just to have it delivered to a hotel or residence?
    Yes. We will receive and deliver your gear wherever you need it.
  • I just want to ship my gear back home.
    We can pick up your gear at any hotel or residence and have it shipped via Fedex to your home or wherever you need it.
  • Does Box It Ship Skis and Boards?
    Yes. We can pick up your gear at any hotel or residence and have it shipped via Fedex to your home or wherever you need it.
  • I need my Boxes in Aspen, Snowmass, Breckenridge, Keystone, Whistler, Park City or other resorts

  • Does Box it have Shipping service?
    Yes, we have transportation and shipping services upon request. We deliver with our own vans to Aspen, Snowmass, Breckenridge and Keystone areas. We ship via Fedex anywhere else. We partner with Fedex for discounted rates that we pass on to our clients.
  • I don't need storage, I just need shipping only

  • How do I get an invoice?
    You will get an invoice via e mail that you can settle with any major credit card. You choose if you would like a monthly or yearly invoice.
  • When do I pay?
    Monthly storage plans are invoiced every month and settled monthly upon receipt of your invoice Yearly storage plans are invoiced one time for the whole year and settled within the first 90 days after receiving your invoice for the whole year.
  • How do I pay?
    Once we pick up your Boxes and gear we know what to invoice. You will receive an invoice via e mail. You choose if you want a monthly invoice or a one time yearly invoice. You can settle your invoice via our invoicing platform using any major credit card an ACH transfer or even Zelle.
